CALL FOR PERFORMERS - URGENT!
Up next is a work-in-progress showing at Judson Church series of Movement Research. I am planning to draft something completely new and want to explore few ideas with a large number of performers - 25? 30? 50? So maybe this is where you move from the theater seats unto the stage. I am looking for performers - dancers and actors who have some physical training - who would like to be part of this experiment. This will be mostly task oriented performance. All performers need to be available for the dates/times below. If you are interested please email your name and contact info (preferred email, phone) to judson@palissimo.com no later than Friday May 29th. I am excited about this since it can be quite something or a complete disaster. Yes! Do you want to join me? - Pavel

The New York Times documented our turbulent behind the scenes during our season in March. We are hoping that this will open up a discussion about the presenter-artist relationship. We have learned a lesson or two on the way but nevertheless it was the most successful project to date in spite of all the difficulties – and this would not be possible without you, your enthusiasm and great turnout! We appreciate your support that keeps coming in so many ways.

One of those categories was "The Best Performer in a Short Run on Broadway" and Yo-el Cassell, who is one of the cast members of Blind Spot currently playing at PS122, was nominated in this category. Last night, shortly before the show opened, Palissimo got the call that Yo-el won in this category. Congratulations Yo-el!
